Later materials include courtship letters, 1937, from Rev. Dr. Richard Hall, professor of religion at Shorter College, Rome, Ga., to Riggs' widow, with discussion of Hall's health, finances, and proposed living arrangements for the couple; and annotated will, 1947, of Louise Moore Riggs Hall, widow of Walter Merritt Riggs and Richard Hall, stipulating that she be buried beside Riggs at Clemson.
